In a conversation between Andrew D, Basiago, William Stillings, and Courtney M. Hunt of the CIA, Courtney stated that the Jumproom on Mars was less than 20 Miles from the VIKING 2 Lander.
Below is a 40-mile circle with the VIKING 2 in the middle.
